What is TILIGO?

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

TILIGO primary purpose is the creation of valuations of products or entire projects and efficient support for creating professional business offers. It it possible to price fairly complex products having various parameters. Nevertheless, even in companies having very simple products TILIGO can be a useful tool.

The basic purpose described above is enhanced by a series of additional elements:

The opportunity to create and store offers as well as use them as templates for other offers.
Comprehensive offers management (among others, displaying offers that were sent to a given customer).
The opportunity to take advantage of professional offer templates attached to the program as well as the opportunity to create an offer template independently (in MS WORD or similar program). The template may include any images. The program itself places the data in a selected template, which allows you to see it immediately, edit before printing or convert to Adobe PDF format. The prepared offer may be printed or sent to a customer via e-mail.
A virtual storage in which you may store used products and inventory reserves which not necessarily are possessed by the company (e.g. they are in offers of suppliers). This makes TILIGO have advantage over the competitive programs. In that storage you may update prices, modify names and a lot of other parameters. You can also associate some products with their alternatives (replacement products).
After creating an offer, you may save it, print it or export it to another program.
Each product can have so-called parameters. They allow you to describe some additional features of a product which may be used later in a variety of calculations. These parameters may be e.g. length, width or heights of a given element.
The program allows you to create so-called sets (a set is a group of products, services or other sets). It greatly facilitates the work when a group of products or services is frequently used to create various offers. Every set may include not only basic products, but also other sets. In case of a company producing bicycles, a complete bicycle wheel may be one set. A factory needs a lot of components to produce a wheel and it is not necessary to offer every element separately. It is easier to offer one set: a complete wheel. If the price or description of any wheel's component change in virtual storage, then the price and content of the complete wheel change automatically.
The opportunity to create so-called one-time sets which may be useful in incidental projects.
The opportunity of diverse sorting of components included in an offer. An example can be sorting products by suppliers, thanks to which you may get a lost of products grouped by the suppliers. If it turns out that a particular product is out of supplier's stock, TILIGO enables you to select a replacement product (if such a list was previously created). At the end you may get (print or send via e-mail) lists of orders to suppliers.
For each virtual product (or a set) you may attach a picture (photo) and any files. Thanks to this, you get a treasure of information about every element of a virtual storage.
In TILIGO you may create company's departments in such a way that the workers of one department can see neither the offers nor storage of the other department.
TILIGO may work in network.
The program makes it possible to set permissions for every element which enables the administrator to decide on who is allowed to do/change what.
TILIGO gives you the ability to save the offer components that are not visible for a customer. You may create some calculations and save them in the offer but a customer will see only their results. The offer components do not have to be visible in the final offer but if it needed, they may be presented.
TILIGO creates not only offers, but also other documents, e.g. orders to suppliers.
TILIGO can create parametric sets that enables you to describe a set regardless of dimensions of a product which is described by the set. The defined parameters allow the system to automatically adjust a set to an offer. Parameters may be determined both for sets' elements and for the whole set.
In a set you may include so-called global parameters (valid in the entire set). Changing global parameters may result in a change of particular set's elements. Global parameters may be set "on the outside" (available for the offer or a superior set). Therefore, on the level of an offer you can determine global parameters of a set included in that offer. Thanks to this, it is possible to modify the shape and content of a set included in the offer. This in turn influences the price of that set.
Similarly to Excel, it is possible to insert formulas (instead of numbers) to the majority of data fields.
In created sets it is possible to create so-called list of alternative products (alternative sets). For instance, when creating a set describing a new car of a particular model, it is possible to add any car body colour, engine type, gearbox type and any products which may be alternative in a given model. It greatly facilitates offering products including different variants.
