Parametrization

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

Parametrization enables you to give different values to particular elements and to create dependencies between these values. It is also used to determine the maximum size range available.

Example:

Door manufacturer defines a product/material "a laminated chipboard in beech colour". The maximum size of a product is 2100x3109mm. The producer defines such a size in the editor of product's features. As a result, it will not be possible to use any furniture part which dimensions would be greater than the maximum (previously declared) size of resource. Parameters that need to be determined will automatically appear after choosing an appropriate measurement unit. In this example, the measurement unit is "square meter" so the parameters to be determined are: l - length and a - width. It is also possible to determine the minimum value, i.e. a value of which a product cannot be made.

When creating an offer in which a previously prepared set will be used, you will see pre-defined parameters restrictions.
