Set's parameters are a unique function of TILIGO program. They allow to assign global parameters applicable to an entire given set. Global parameters are subsequently used in superior sets or offers.
We suggest that you carefully read a description of global parameters. They are quite a sophisticated and a bit complicated function. Nonetheless, they contain great possibilities, unknown to the authors of TILIGO in any other program.
In the table shown below, you can insert a new parameter of delete another one. In the table of global parameters you can also specify the minimum and maximum values of parameters as well as enter an example of the value for each parameter, which enables you to check how a given global parameter affects so-called local parameters.
Note:
Although the value of an entered parameter is stored in TILIGO program's memory, it should be remembered that this value has no effect on the further calculations. Practically speaking, the value of global parameters is determined on a completely different level, i.e. on the level of an offer or another set in which a given set is used.
Such a multi-level structure of the parametrization makes it possible to create very complicated items which in turn enables an accurate determination of the values (prices, quantity parameters, etc.) of the individual elements of these items.
The function of entering parameter's value serves in order to make it possible to see the values of all elements of a set for a given global parameters value.
Sets creation makes sense only when a set is created directly by the user's COMPANY. In case when a user buys a complex product, such a product should be treated as product, not as set.
In global parameters window you can insert global parameters which are local. It is useful when a lot of set's items depend on some specific number. This parameter is no "visible" by superior sets.
