Trading partners' panel is very useful in managing the available resources.

 

When you click [Contractors] menu and then [Customers and suppliers] button, you can see a window in which you can add, delete or edit trading partners previously entered to the database.

 

 

 

 

After clicking [Add new] button, you can see a new window in which you can edit a new supplier or customer.

 

 

 

EDITING TRADING PARTNER

 

In order to edit a trading partner, press [Edit] button in Tranding partners window.

 

DELETING TRADING PARTNERS

 

In order to delete a trading partner, you need to select them on a list and press [Delete] button. Currently, you can delete only one trading partner. This is caused by the desire to protect you from unintentional removal of trading partners.

 

 

Note: You cannot delete a trading partner whose record is used in another element or a set.

 

 

FILTERING AND SORTING TRADING PARTNERS

 

In Trading partners window it is possible to filter the list of displayed trading partners.

 

Currently, it can be done using 4 fields:

 

 

It is also possible to sort trading partners in any field. In order to do this, you need to click the suitable column header.

 

Note:

It is recommended not to use quotation marks in trading partners' names. Nevertheless, in Name field, you need to enter exactly the same name as the present one (therefore, with quotation marks perhaps) but do not do it in [Short name] field.

The use of quotation marks in [Short name] field would make it more difficult to sort trading partners.

 

 

DISCOUNTS

 

[Discount] button allows you to attribute a value of discounts the company is ready to grant to each trading partner.

After pressing this button, you can see a discount table. In the table you can see the discounts that are granted for a given customer. It is possible to enter discount for all the products to this table. If you want to distinguish the discounts given on particular products, you need to enter a tree of products, stop at a selected product (or group of products) and open the context menu. In this menu there is an option DISCOUNTS. After selecting this option, it will be possible to assign the discounts to a selected product or a group.

 

 

Note:

[Discount] button is available only when the operation mode is set on [Sale price mode].
